Youth will prevail on the 2010 edition of the Gator soccer team, as 25 of the 33-member roster are freshmen or sophomores. That amount of youthfulness would be concerning for most coaches, but UF Head Coach Becky Burleigh, beginning her 15th year with the program she started, has seen Gator teams with abundance of underclassmen in the past. She knows that a successful season is certainly a possible, and expected, outcome.

Although young, there is no shortage of talent. Competition for playing time will be fierce, which will benefit the Gators come match time. Getting these talented individuals to work as a team will go far in determining the 2010 Gators outcome.
