Poster Detail
West Texas A&M is one of our clients for whom we provide a wide range of design and production services. For the past few years, we've designed full media guides, schedule posters and schedule cards for each of their 15 sports as well as their football game programs and donor brochures. The 2009-10 season would be no different. But this year, we were also asked to convert all of their guides to our Virtual Publication™ format for use on the GoBuffsGo.com website. Go Summit go.
“Summit Athletic Media has enabled us to take our publications to the ‘next level’ while still allowing us to keep our projects within our budget. They provide qualify, efficient, professional services while producing a project that is second-to-none. We look forward to a continued relationship with them and I would not hesitate to refer them to anyone who is looking for an affordable method to improving the layout, design and look of their publications.”

Handling the layout and production of so many media guides definitely requires some planning. Like in years past, we started by designing a template for the football guideWTAMU Football Guide that was used for all other books. And since we'd produced these books before, they went a little easier because we had already gathered all of the historical and university photos. Once we completed each book, we prepared one file for print and one file for a Virtual Publication™ on WTAMU's website.
We also needed to design and produce the football game programsFootball Game Programs. Borrowing elements from the media guide, we worked with the athletic department to compile content and ads for each game's program. Here again, our production experience was key to making sure each program was designed, proofed, printed and delivered in time for the game.
In addition to the media guides, the athletic department wanted postersPosters and schedule cardsSchedule Cards for each sport. We designed each of these pieces to match all the other artwork to create a unified look across all sports.
Producing full media guides, posters, cards and programs is a huge undertaking. So huge, that the Buffs chose to trust the one company that could deliver great design on-budget and on-schedule. They chose the one company that is always ready to handle last-minute changes or special projects. They chose the one company that does nothing other than work with athletic teams. They chose Summit.
