For the 2010 season, the Seminoles again looked to Summit to design their baseball marketing materials. Like in years past, we were asked to design a poster, schedule card, schedule magnet and player trading cards. But this year, we were also charged with the task of developing a theme and slogan for all of the pieces. We were definitely up to the challenge.


We started by brainstorming some theme concepts that captured the team's strong work ethic but also used baseball-specific language. The result: Hustle. Hit. Never Quit.

Once we established the theme, we began constructing the schedule posterSchedule Poster. We started by sifting through the many photos given to us by the Florida State marketing department and selecting the best option for each of the 5 athletes. Adding the calendar graphics for the season schedule and various team and sponsor logos was the final step to complete the layout. Finally, our designers gave each photo and type a rough, grunge look that fit well with the "hard-working" theme. This graphic treatment was carried throughout all baseball materials.


Next came the schedule cardSchedule Card and schedule magnetSchedule Magnet. Each piece featured a different combination of athletes but the overall look was similar to the poster. Finally, we produced individual player trading cardsPlayer Trading Cards of each player on the team.
